Library Users - Please Read This
Man's books are like men themselves: some good may be found in the worst of them and some bad in the best of them. Follow the apostle John's inspired caution with books as well as men:
"Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world." (1 John 4:1)
The Spring Bible Institute Library provides religious research material for Gospel preachers in their work which includes discerning, exposing, and refuting error (Jude 3). Thus, this library would be incomplete without a number of books which espouse religious error. Such books can be used to equip God's people to combat the very error they contain or make available some of their worthwhile material which is intermingled with their error. You have the personal responsibility to accept only those conclusions which are found to be in harmony with the Bible (1 Thessalonians 5:21).
The Bible is the standard for measuring every other book (John 12 :48; Colossians 3:17).
